I find it is time that author comments are reportable with authors writing things that are racist, spam like and page stretching. Swearing I can deal with, seeing words like fuck 1000 times is rude and needs to stop. Even something as trivial as seeing the word butter 1000 times and pagestretching is abusive in my mind.

I am also annoyed at the fact that rude reviews can get flagged for as little as "you suck" yet rude authors get away with things like the N word and anti gay slurs. We aren't allowed to talk like that on the BBS, in our reviews or flashes (yes racist flash is prohibited) and author comments should be no different.

We want the staff of NG to make it so that author comments may be flagged and removed for rude and offensive content.

One thing I am sick of is mods being over the top with bans. It's making newgrounds A LOT LESS FUN. You make post that is legit, fun or otherwise interesting thread and then some mod comes and locks it and is excessively rude or snarky. It makes me so pissed off because there is nothing you can do about these assholes that it makes me want to leave Newgrounds. It isn't any fun if I am going to be banned every five seconds for something I tried to share that was interesting. It's not like I made some absurd spam post.

I also feel like I do not want to contribute by making posts if most of the time some mod will come crashing down on them and ban me for no good reason. Soon people like me will get pissed off and leave Newgrounds for an internet hangout where we won't have to worry about being banned for lame reasons.

If you are a mod that does not make you better that anyone else. I see so many mods acting like they are the shit. It's just plain obnoxious. Just because some mods act better than us just because they can ban us makes all mods look bad too. A mod should be the good guy that solves problems and bans spamming n00bs. Not regular users for making a thread that a certain mod doesn't like. If the thread sucks it will float to the bottom of the board and die. No need for any form of interaction by a mod that has nothing better to do.

A mod should be friendly and FAIR because mods are here to HELP PEOPLE. Not rude. People make mistakes. Not a big deal. I can understand a mod being angry at people but, if you get terribly angry over an internet forum and make it less fun for the rest of us, what is the point?

I mean this isn't real life. Newgrounds is a place to entertain people. If you have some self esteem issues becuase of the things you cannot accoplish in real life don't take it out on people that are just trying to have a good time. Doing this is called BULLYING. Not Modding.

I have a whole hell of alot of respect for mods that use all their effort to make NG a fun place to be, those people deserve to be commended. I can see how annoying modding can get with all the stupid questions, trolls, spam and updates can be to deal with. It takes a very patient and intelligent person to be a mod. It's jerks that make people think ill of mods. I'd like to see that stop.
